The Experience
The Studio experience takes place over ten weeks on a Saturday morning during term-time between 10am and 1pm. There are a maximum of 40 participants at The Studio, with 6 adult crew members to support them (a ratio of 6:1). We've partnered with Hinchley Wood School to create a fun, safe, welcoming and creative environment for all participants. The school has exceptional music facilities including two large meeting rooms, six rehearsal rooms, a drum rehearsal room and a recording studio. At the end-of-term gig, you'll have the opportunity to perform, but it's not compulsory. We know some people prefer to be in the background rather than on-stage, so we've got a role for everyone and for everyone's project to be showcased to friends and family as they want. Here's a flavour of what happens over the ten weeks...
Week One
In the first week, you'll get to know other participants, and we'll start work on your project right away
Week Two
You'll be collaborating, learning andhaving fun at The Studio!
Week Three
By week three, you'll be well on your way to building your song or set of songs, having found your path as a solo artist, or bend member.
Week Four
You'll be improving and building on what you've already learned, making changes and finding new directions to hone your project.
Week Five
By week five, you'll be sharpening your act and may be thinking about your band's brand and merch ahead of the Gig Night in a few weeks' time.

Our crew will keep guiding you on the right way to direct your project.
Week Seven
It's about honing your act or song now, preparing for the big gig!

By now, we'll have loked exactly what you'll be doing for the end-of-term gig - that could be perfromi
Week Nine
We'll be finalising our acts for the end of term gig.
Week Ten
It;'s final prep time - and that may include a live rehearsal gig in front of a friendly audience.
